~Our Mission Statement~

Valhallas Pirates - a Pirate Re-enactor Group

The mission of "Valhalla's Pirates" is to present both Historical and Theatrical Entertainment to children and adults. We also aspire to help young people who are struggling with social, emotional, and medical difficulties, and aid charities that dedicated to these causes. In addition, we provide our services to help other non-profit organizations and agencies raise funds for their endeavors.

Our Goals:
·To educate the public regarding the Golden Age of Piracy (life on the high seas, manner of dress, speech, common knowledge and skills, weapons, tools, and ship's crew organization during the years 1670-1730)
·To teach the differences between pirates, privateers, and ordinary sailors
and their impact on history
·To employ entertainment and "living history" as primary methods of education
(It is our belief that history can be not only interesting but also fun. We feel that realistically portraying pirates and sailors who can physically 'interact' with the public is the most effective way of teaching.)
·To cooperate with other non-profit organizations, operators of replica vessels, and also land-based groups who seek to re-live that time period.
·Our ultimate goal is to re-create "The Brethren of the Coast", a legendary governing body outlined by Captains Henry Morgan and Bartholomew Roberts, as a means of organizing similar organizations and groups into a more effective network to both educate and entertain.
